How Do They Feel?

The tiles are firm, full size, easy to handle, and make a satisfying click and shuffle around the table.

They're intentionally much lighter than traditional acrylic tiles, so you get the full-size playing experience without the heavy set.

Materials & Care

Each set is made to order using rigid PLA.

Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap when needed.

Avoid prolonged exposure to high heat. Do not leave the tiles inside a hot car or next to a strong heat source.

Are these full-size Mahjong tiles?
Yes. Each tile measures 1.26 × 0.94 × 0.63 in, giving you the familiar size and readability of a full-size American Mahjong set without shrinking the game into miniature travel tiles.
What do lightweight tiles feel like?
The tiles are made from rigid PLA, so they feel firm and solid—not soft, flexible, or foam-like. They are intentionally much lighter than traditional acrylic or melamine tiles, making the complete set easier to carry.
Will the tiles stay secure in regular racks?
The tiles are designed with full-size dimensions so they sit properly in standard American Mahjong racks. As with any set, rack shape and lip depth can vary slightly between manufacturers.
Are the designs easy to read during play?
Yes. Our designs are created to feel playful and distinctive while keeping the numbers, suits, winds, dragons, flowers, and jokers easy to recognize at a glance.
Do they sound and play like traditional tiles?
They still create the familiar clicking and shuffling sounds of Mahjong, but because they are made from lightweight PLA rather than heavy acrylic or melamine, the sound and in-hand feel are not identical to a traditional weighted set.
Are they only meant for travel?

Do the tiles float?
Yes. The tiles are designed to float if dropped in water, making them suitable for poolside play. After exposure to chlorine or salt water, rinse them with fresh water and allow them to dry fully.
